Liberia Secures US$30 Million Chinese Development Grant

On 27 October 2026, Liberia signed a US$30 million development grant agreement with China to support projects selected jointly by the two governments. The agreement followed earlier diplomatic discussions and was presented as part of efforts to strengthen economic cooperation and support Liberia’s development agenda. The funding will require project selection, implementation planning and transparent monitoring. HPC can support public institutions with budget analytics, project evaluation, data-driven resource allocation and digital reporting systems.
