Liberia Trains 130 Young People in Agricultural Machinery Operations

On 30 October 2026, Liberia announced that 130 people, mostly young Liberians, had been selected for a 40-day training programme in agricultural machinery operation and maintenance. The initiative accompanies the handover of 304 agricultural machines donated by China; six Chinese specialists are providing technical support. No separate training budget was disclosed. The programme highlights demand for technical education, workforce development and skills assessment. HPC can support employers and training institutions with digital learning platforms, workforce analytics and skills-management systems.
