Liberia’s Mining and Energy Sector Highlights Demand for Modern Technology

At LIMEC 2026 on 28–29 October, government and industry representatives discussed the role of technology, technical expertise and infrastructure in developing Liberia’s mineral and energy resources. The conference programme included critical-mineral exploration, iron ore production, processing and cross-border rail and port development; no dedicated technology investment amount was announced. The discussions create opportunities for mining technology, digital operations, industrial automation and data platforms.
